Not brag or anything (well, maybe just a little) whenever I make my brandied mushrooms at a party, those who've had them before vultch the kitchen to intercept them before the clueless can get to them.
They ARE pretty tasty.
On the subject of decadent desserts, nothing can top pecan pie dipped in melted Belgian chocolate.
Breadcrumb bananas with salted caramel sauce. Crisp and gooey. A treat.
