Here's a thing I've been playing around with:

Cut up an apple (or half a large one) into bite sized pieces, chop up some fresh ginger (about a teaspoon's worth), add half a stick of cinnamon and a tablespoon of dried tea leaves. Put it all in a pint mason jar, add a good squirt of honey and then fill the rest with Johnny Walker (or some similar whiskey). Shake well, and then let that all steep in the fridge for an afternoon (or longer). Pour through a strainer to filter out the solids, and serve over ice. Pairs well with plain glazed donuts. And after you're done, you can also eat the apple chunks smile
