Lately, I've been thinking that scotch and tea would make a great pairing. A few days ago, I decided to add a few pinches of tea leaves (Not sure of the exact variety, but they're green, imported from India, and make a really great cup of tea) to a bottle of Johnny Walker. Highly recommend the combination, which I'm calling "whisk-tea."
So, my question is what have you added to a bottle to enhance the flavor?
I haven’t tried infusing any liquor myself but I did come across a combination a few months ago that caught me off guard: peanut butter and whiskey. Normally I detest creamy/sweet when it comes to liquids (hits a sour milk note on my pallet) but this somehow works. It’s like drinking candy yet the alcohol punch remains unmasked.
I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?
