During a meal - a good beer or red wine. After dinner, the same or maybe an Irish Whiskey or Cognac (1 to 2 times per year)
Since Xmas, it has been Sloe Gin

Usually wine, occasionally various margaritas, White Russians.

White Russians are a great favorite for me.
If the Main Course is Lamb or Beef, then a glass or two of Penfold's Grange.
Afterwards it would have to be Cognac (Martell), Single Malt (at least 15 y.o.), Bourbon (Pappy Van Winkle).
It would a great, after dinner conversation, discussing the merits of all the great spirits.

Not sure I could pin it down to one in general... Right now though, I would love a pint of dry cider.
Wine if I’m eating something rich, Malbec for red and Chardonnay for white. Occasionally a merlot.
For everything else it’s bourbon. Just with a dash of water. I’ll have a beer in summer.
I don’t drink after dinner.

After leaving the restaurant... It's anything goes. Just depends on the place and what is best to get there.
I love having beer or wine with dinner. It depends on the meal and where I'm eating. If I'm driving I'll stick with water or tea and have some whiskey when I get home.
Depends a lot on the meal but I like a nice bourbon on the rocks afterwords
A Scotch or a bourbon is great, but l'm not all that picky. A stogie is nice too, but a joint is better.
