But this is Boyle (a person I assume truly exists) writing something about Trump (who we know truly exists) as President Trump (which also truly exists now, & I believe when he wrote the piece).

Therefore, if his title is quite easy to comprehend so we both agree that what is described in it cannot take place in either of our respective lifetimes (or perhaps Boyle's or Trump's), there is no point in/reason to read beyond its title.

Well, I scrolled up to the top of this page and in a quote of yours, you mention the word, said, which means you had to voice it. So based on your believe that this is a non audio site and that people cant hear your text, you would have been better off writing "I wrote", and not said. Kinda hypocritical of you. What's new. I may have, but every time that person posts, they state contradictory things (agreeing & arguing with me) with extra/needless commas. Which is worse? Mistakes are equal, as your siblings will tell you.

It's funny that you complain about one's use of commas when, in the same comment, you use an abundance of parentheses. Ever noticed that different languages use punctuation slightly different? They do. So, you could interpret a non-native speaker's use of punctuation as a written version of a foreign accent.

I don't spend all that much time studying languages, but I suppose you are right.

Both seem to be regular points of attack for members here, rather than any topic being discussed. Ironically, my problem is/was not with the quantity of commas in any one post, but what appeared (likely not only to me, though I can see the claims of such coming) to be misuses of them, which potentially make comprehension of posts more difficult & affect discussion.

Maybe I failed to use preferred grammar, but as far as I know, always within grammar rules. I am however always willing to learn from my mistakes, so please show me, where I used commas in such a way, that it changed the meaning of my sentences.
