You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Interesting deflection attempt there. Or you completely missed my point. Obama spent 8 years blaming everything wrong on others, most often on his predecessor. Not once do I remember him acknowledging that sometimes shit just happens, or worse, that he just might have caused some shit to happen. Not in 8 years. People are imperfect. Obama was/is imperfect. Did he have a perfect administration? I really don't fucking think so! And I survived 8 years of it.
So buck up, Snowflake! The sky is not falling. You will survive the next 8 years just fine!

Obama inherited an economic mess when he came into office. The economy got better, although it would have been hard fo it to have gotten worse. Bush/Cheney left the country on the point of economic collapse. Now Trump wants credit for jobs created in the Obama administration. Trump and his allies have shown us the kind of authoritarian government they want to impose by the people they have put in positions of power. He is blustering about nuclear arms and alienating our allies at the same time he cozies up to dictators and covers up the reason for a Russian diplomats death. Do you read the news or just accept what Brietbart News and Hannity tell you? I bet you believe calling people 'snowflake' is political discourse. It isn't.
You may also believe that Obama is running a shadow government and that the Democratic party, especially Obama, framed the Trump campaign for Russian interference in the election. Those 'news' stories are wrong as well, just more nonsense pulled out of the ass of right wing propagandists like Sean Hannity, and manufactured in the fevered minds of desperate Republican politicians.
Obama stayed in DC to give his daughter time to graduate high school, and Donald Trump's people collaborated with a foreign government to interfere with the American electoral process according to United States intelligence reports, but people like you and other Trump supporters would rather believe in alternative Brietbart facts and misinformation Hannity makes up on the spot than The Intelligence community. Smoke and mirrors to deflect people from the truth issues from the White House, and you believe every word, so don't be telling us the next eight years is going to be okay because comparing other administrations to what Trump is trying to do to this country is ridiculous. It's like eight sticks of dynamite is going to be okay because you survived eight firecrackers.

I can't take credit for this, but it pretty much sums up the conjob Trump pulled. Unfortunately, his supporters refuse to take their blinders off. Sigh.

You lost me at Trump supporter. You assume way too much. One did not have to be a Hannity/Breitbart koolaid drinker to see that Trump would be bad, but that Hillary would be worse. The Republican elites probably don't have your best interests at heart. But you can bet your behind that the Democratic elites don't either. Wake up and smell the coffee. Refuse to be played by either side. They're the two wings of a very large bird of prey. And you and yours are on the menu.

I am so pleased you didn't take credit for this Amy, you are way to sensible to fall for this sort of nonsense. It def. hits the nail on the head though; it's the sort of twaddle that persuades me that my vote, cast for Donald Trump, was cast correctly and in the best interests of America and it's people. If I had to vote again tomorrow, I would vote the same way I did. I don't feel in the least bit 'conned'. Whoever concocted this mess didn't do the wonderful fact checking the Democrats supposedly rely on.
I wonder who the new Prime Minister of Australia will be? Any ideas? ... and they obviously have no idea that Goldman Sachs forbade... yes 'forbade' their partners and senior execs from contibuting any funds to the Trump Campaign and 'advised' their other staff to follow their directive. Clinton Campaign only was tolerated in the Bank that 'rules the world'. That directive was one of the reasons I chose to vote the way I did. Plus the DF regulation thing. You know why we have that regulation of course?; which President did away with the banking regulations allowing trading banks and their counterparts to effectively merge?.
Surely you can do better than this heap of nonsense Amy?
Oh .. whoevermissed out the TPP, my #1 reason for voting for Donald Trump. Only he and Bernie Sanders were promising to repeal it.

Hayley, do you ever stop drinking the GOP Kook-Aide and think for yourself? You missed the point of Amy's post which was Trump is a con man who fooled his followers (like yourself) into thinking he gives a shit about anyone who isn't a multi-millionaire. Think about the pre-2008 days and what happened to the American economy. Here's a hint... it fucking collapsed and it took years to recover. As to the rest, it speaks for itself.
Personally, I'd love to see Pres. Trump actually do some good for this country, stay off Twitter, and make some changes that will help everyone, not just those who can "afford" to be his friend. Sadly, I've yet to see him do much besides be a bully.

she didn't miss the point. she does the same thing "her donald" does. any POV that differs from hers is nonsense or twaddle and fake news from leftists and fascists. her facts are the only ones that are right, anything else isn't worth her consideration. I do agree with you, it would be a pleasant surprise if he actually did some things that are good for this country, but so far, he is just taking credit for a lot of things that were already in place even before the election, such as reducing the cost of the new military jets, and the additional jobs several of the car companies have announced. he takes credit for anything good, and blames anything bad on "the mess" left by the previous administration. not to mention the fact that he continues to act like a petulant child whining about inconsequential things like the inaugural crowd size and how he lost the popular vote, instead of growing up and stop tweeting at 3am in the morning.

You make a valid point and have even backed that up with... dare I say... facts.![]()

If the USA isn't facing another financial crisis as we were in September/October of 2008 and if we haven't entered into a single war of choice (full fledged invasion and occupying force for months on end), I will consider the Trump administration to be a moderate success.
And it was no deflection and I didn't miss your haphazard blame shifting. Obama could have done so much more, in my opinion. He fucking blew his first two years in office trying to befriend the GOP, then he morphed into a 1988 Republican in his last six years in office.
Snowflake? Thanks for the compliment, cupcake.

Be interesting to see if she moves into the White House when the school year is over.
Quote by apptobebad
why? is she still learning English?
I thought they had moved the Whitehouse to Florida and used up the Medicare budget flying people backwards and forwards every week.

she is staying in NY so their 10 y/o son can finish the school year where he currently attends. I think she goes there on weekends when he is there too. which so far is every weekend. so instead of one plane flying them down together, they use two. or at least have to fly melania and barron to Washington.
