What happened to Lush?

Seemingly overnight Lush is having issues. First, this new messaging system... eh, not my cup of tea. Secondly, I cannot access my own group. Is anyone else having these issues that seem to have started yesterday?

I have done issues but often they are resolved by refreshing the page on my iPhone. Have you tried that?

Well, there are considerable costs involved to run a site like this. If the site does not have big enough sponsors then we have to chip in. Plus, because there is a "fee" system it helps to keep some of the less desirables out that like to be disruptive. For $49.99 per year, that's only $0.13 per day. As cheap and thrifty as I am, even I don't complain about it.

I agree Mr.Slut... While obviously there are persons who cannot afford or do not want to pay for web based social interaction and literature, most people still should be able to afford even a basic or short term membership in return for full benefits or close to full. The free version is a good sampler to determine if the site is good for you or not. As you say the yearly special offering seems quite reasonable considering the entertainment value and social contract potential.

Pennies a day to get all the socializing and story reads you wants. The cheapest entertainment around.
