I want to thank Nicola. Lush does an excellent job at reviewing stories before they are allowed on the site. I have been looking at other sites..and stories..and the writing that's published is almost hard to read. I understand how frustrating as a writer it can be to have a story rejected. I have had my fair share.. over and over.. But in the end it makes for a better story and a better experience.

I whole wholeheartedly agree, Contessa. Yes, many thanks to Nicola and staff for maintaining a higher standard at Lush.

It isn't easy to reject a story, I know, but the reviewers do a fantastic job. Each of the rejection letters I have received was very respectful and included a specific reason so that I could easily remedy the error and resubmit. It can be frustrating as an author, but as an avid reader I'm grateful someone else is sifting through the rubbish.

Thanks guys, I'm glad our team's efforts don't go unnoticed.

We do try to help writers of all standards and abilities, in any way we can.

One of the most gratifying things about running the site is knowing that we've helped hundreds of people in a fundamental way, improving their ability to write. That can be carried through to all aspects of their lives, both personally and professionally.
