Gav when you open this box to a friends profile can it also have open a online message. Then you dont have to go to the profile to get a BB.

Also, when using my mobile the red bar does not scroll so almost impossible to get to my profile page. Also In settings you can set your default to open on your profile page. It does not work. it opens on the home page on both my phone and iPad. Does the same for Milik.

If I turn my phone vertical I would be able to get to it, but it is always missing. LOL

You click on users avi to get content menu(the above box) and click their username if you want to visit profile.
You have to tap on bars to make settings slide on the left side of screen.

I don't know about default as I don't log off Lush, just close window and I have it bookmarked to open on Your Friends page. It's handy to bookmark certain Lush pages.

Edit:Excuse that ugly writing, I have no idea where I left my stylus pen(its blk, a white one would be easiest to find in a blk home like mine) and used the one w/ rubber--horrid rubber tip.

Edit#2:I messed around w/ HOME PAGE in SETTINGS and you need to save changes then log off and log in again for it to take effect.

(Make sure to scroll down and save changes.)

Edit#3 that screenshot shows you're not friends w/ that user even though you have them as a friend, so how will you get access to online chat(blk box/BB messaging)? and you are logged on too--strange. That was definitely a glitch¿

I actually did not know this until one of my team started using the term a year or so ago. Sounds like something you'd find in a fast food joint.

I am generally pleased with the responsive format at this point. I don't chat or BB much so my main concern is being able to read, score, and comment on stories, which works fine. The fact that I can now access my Lush settings on my phone to do stuff like update my signature is great, too. A responsive version of the forums would be nice, but I am good with this.

I almost think you and Gav should leave this be for a couple weeks in case it's been exposed to cor... oops, wrong thread. I mean, just to make sure everything done so far is stable. Though you run the forums on a separate domain so maybe messing with them won't affect things here further??

Yes, it's on a subdomain.

There's a very good reason we left them until last!

The main problem is the YAF code has been chopped around to suit the site and a bunch of admin tools hang off it. Upgrading to the latest mobile friendly version of YAF would probably have no end of consequences to how much of it still works, especially from an admin point of view.

Changing the CSS shouldn't be too much of an issue I'd have thought [-o<

I went to the very bottom of the message block and it has a smiley to select and bring up a group of smilies to pick from.

Device has nothing to do w/ it as we all see the same format.
You've blocked and unblocked member's before, I would have assumed its easy for you.

Ok, let's try this again. I've blocked user for example.



I blocked a babe to see what you saw. I think you keep clicking/tapping on username as i did that and it directed me to user's profile.

You have to tap middle of avi to get content menu then this pops up

I may be wrong but like we have for forum posts there used to be the five pages of them and not just a relatively small scrolled list.

That is true. I checked over on SS and they still have three whole pages of smilies on the right-hand side of the screen. It's obviously changed here.

The font thing might be because it looks as if some of the responsive style changes are being tested on the forum. Exciting! I would expect a little turbulence here.

I am guessing it will most likely be that some CSS have been left with "default" rather than specific fonts.

I have to use this emoticon not knowing that the smiley face at the bottom of messages is actually the thing to press to bring up the smileys box. Now I feel silly!

The "Away" online status is still encroaching on our logo. I suggest removing it totally, or having a green dot light for online and something else for away.

I think we should make the tab order a little different for messages:

Removing "Items" would free up some space - we know they are sent messages as we are in messaging!

Maybe just have the 4 main ones people use:

Inbox | Sent | Online | Drafts | More >> Chat | Friend Requests | Folders

The tabs have a lot spacing that can be altered to make better use of the available space, the links could also just be places in a list on smallest screens or make them into a menu appearing from the left.

See only the latest moved message - all the others are about a pages worth of scrolling down. Each new message gets left on its own at the top everything else is 'way. down low. Tried in Safari and Firefox on iMac latest OS and versions - Cache cleared, no difference ?‍♂️. Safari on iPhone does not have the problem ?

Does Chrome suffer from the same issue on a Mac? Anyone else with a Mac have the same issue?

I’ve learnt one should never make assumptions. You’re correct, I tapped the middle of the avatar and was able to unblock. In the past, different devices have not done things they should. E.g. I don’t hear a notification sound when I get a black box message.

Check lush settings, save, log out and log back in.

If that doesn't work, check browser settings(Sound) and make sure you've allowed lush access.

If that doesn't work, clear cache/cookies.

Edit:make sure iPhone/other device isn't muted. It happens.
