I found it but I can only access it from the forums page because it so darn small I can barely see it anywhere else. When I expand the screen it slides off the page and my frustrations grow! I never had to enlarge anything on my phone before the “update”

If you're using desktop on your phone, with the style sheet switched off, you might need to enable the desktop website on your browser. I use Chrome and this makes it look better.

Gav is still working on things at the moment.

Thanks Jen, I’ve switched over and still lose most info when I enlarge my screen because now everything has shrunk so that I can barely see/read it. I really appreciate everything that Gav does here and it’s not a criticism, just frustration!

I've snipped a copy of the Details page from Stories Space for Gav to refer to if he needs it for reference. All of the issues I noticed when checking out the beta site ImpureThoughts did an excellent job in detailing.

Hi Gav,

Bit of a weird one, not you, this issue.

When entering a chat room and clicking on the 'Users' list at top right (using Chrome)

it opens the list of users....

and this happens...

if it just my lappy, no worries

You should first read this Looky Here!!

and then this Free stuff

then say 'Hi'

It looks to me like you joined a chat room and lots of people quickly left. I can understand that.

I've made Gav aware of this today.

I found if you reload the page (F5 typically), then the right hand side magically appears.

Another quirk like that is when I go to portrait mode on my iPad whilst someone's profile has loaded, ALL the blue sub-menus collapse, the "About MemberXYZ" isn't expanded, and clicking any of the sections does nothing.

Reloading the same page again while the page is vertical, it all works as it should.

It's like a refresh or something akin to that when a device is rotated, needs to be added in. I don't know about the technicals, but I think that describes what needs to be fixed adequately!

I'm aware Gav ist making changes now und Lush will be freakin' out for abit.

I seldom use my mobile phone on Lush, most always using one of my laptops.

Not know about the problems being addressed or changes being made, but...

PLEASE put our computer desktop profile page layout back the same as before,
...once you've finished upgrading the mobile issues?

This ist how I see everyone's profile page now on my computer desktop.

Everything ist vertical. Nothing ist any longer side-by-side. It ist terrible...smiles

As well, tabs missing...Drop-down Java menu missing...settings etc...
Not have a way to logoff of Lush.

Hope these screenshots can be a contribution?

GAV, I LOVE IT!!!

I'm still messing around on this new version, and will let you know if I see any quirks, but so far it's absolutely fabulous.
Quick to navigate (I did have to learn the places of a few things, but that's expected) and it looks really good.

I will, but I spend most of my time in the forums and those haven't changed much yet.

Chrome, and all the browsers it shares its render engine with, has by far the biggest market share of course. But the Firefox Dev Tools and its Responsive Design Mode are pretty neat too.

I am unable to black box anyone. Even those on my friend's list. I can respond to ones I get but cant create any. How do I correct that or?

You can only blk box w/ friends so...

Are you using lush through desktop/laptop or iPhone/Android/iPad/tablet?
A screenshot has been helpful throughout these small issues.

Edit:friends who are on your list. You can pvt chat w/ other's if that's open to all but blk box is only for Your Friends list.

Gav did such a great job. I don't see myself ever disabling mobile stylesheet.
Plus, eveytime clicking on the three bars (navigation system--is there a name for it?) it makes me smile and I say ta-da, magic

I still can't get over how sleek and clean the new format is. Nothing was wrong w/ the original format but I just love this one.
Plus, if I want to see previous format all I have to do is rotate screen to landscape.

In the chat rooms the smileys/emotes button shows the first one in the list and its the size of a football (well close). Maybe right... maybe not.

My inability to black box my friends continues this morning. I only attempt to box those on my friends list. I have never encountered this problem before in my 9 years on lush.

I've sent you a friend request and BB.

Are you using a laptop / desktop, or an iPad or mobile of some kind?

I have tested all 3 devices and successfully sent test messages.

Where are you trying to open a BB from?

If you mouseover a friend on this page: https://www.lushstories.com/membership/friends-list.aspx you should see the option at the bottom to "Online Message":

This works for me on a laptop, iPhone and iPad.

If you go to someone's profile, there's the "Send an online message" option as usual.

I've tested this with the Privacy Settings set to turn off the responsive style sheet, as well as leaving it on. It works as it should for both, so I'm stumped as to where / how you are encountering any difficulties!

Please provide more information on the device you are using, how you are trying to send an online message / black box, and what browser you are using.

I am using a desktop PC. I mouse over the friends and on your profile and do not get any response. Just shows nothing. Sorry for all the issues.

When I mouse over a friend a line appears below their handle but nothing else. This has been a problem since Monday. I have tried three different browsers and same results on all three,

Sorry Nicola I didn't answer all of your response. I have tried to message from profiles and from friend's list. Same result. I have used Microsoft, Google Chrome and Firefox all with same result.

What happens if you go to your friend's profile page and click on 'Send an online message'. Does it show you a text box to type a message into?

I have done that... no response. no boxing opportunity. I can receive boxes from people and answer those by using the reply but not able to generate any from friend list or profile pages.

I've not had this issue on any device or with any browser, so that's really weird.

Depending on what web browser you are using try a hard refresh on a friend's profile page and try it again.

If that doesn't work, completely clear down your browser cache and try that.

Are you able to bring up the dev tools (F12 on Chrome) and see if you have any errors in the Console tab.

its referred to as the Hamburger menu. we really need to make those bread slices a little more to scale!
