New Features for Platinum Members from November 17th 2022

This is quite poor treatment of people who have shown faith in the site and have paid up for membership. What is also very poor but is often the case with this site is the poor communication about this. Any information regarding this offer not being available to existing member is only forthcoming after challenges and questions from fellow members. Why did you not issue a detailed notice of this offer with all the relevant restrictions right from the time you knew it was going to happen.

For the third time in this thread... The promo is currently open to non premium members. Following that, it will be open to premium members. It's being done in phases because of the way the upgrade system works.

Don't know if it is just me, but I click on the 'Black Friday Sale' bar and a red thingy keeps going round and round indefinitely. I don't know how long I am supposed to wait but I do not have all day, I have got a story to write!

I will try again a bit later but don't know if it is just a question of waiting, and waiting, and....

Please ignore my earlier post about not being able to get in (maybe you were ignoring it anyway) because I was later able to get in, thank you.

I clicked on it and it took me right to pay for $99.95. Clicked again and was prompted for PayPal email. I backed out at that point because I wanna keep my Gold status. I'm using an Android phone and works fine. Maybe try again from mobile?

Yes, all the same features, plus some additional ones as described in the opening post.

As I'm sure you've seen, the Black Friday sale is now live for premium members. It's triggered by logging in, so you may need to log out/back in for the promo to appear.

Thank you Jen, I saw the additional features but I got concerned about maybe losing something when Kimmi said about wanting to keep her Gold.

Paul, I just like contributing to the site each year with my Gold renewal, so don't want the one and done payment. And I'm a weirdo who doesn't want to be highlighted on the Home Page (comes with Platinum)

I was gifted silver membership which will expire next yr and I'm sure the Black Friday Sale will take place every yr, so, if I want to purchase Platinum Membership, I'll be able to seeing as I'll be a free agent aka won't have membership come September 2023? I understood what took place(seeing as gold is $19.95 but i dont get the Platinum Membership now as that deal has ended)

I just want to make sure I understand and I'm not asking the same question over and over again.

I did raise this with the development team just a few days ago. BF deal aside, its the case that only free and silver members see the option to upgrade. The former see all three options but for those who already have silver they only see the gold upgrade option. I hope this will change. However, if anyone wants to purchase platinum, and they already have silver or gold, we can do that. Raise a support ticket.

It would be helpful if there were a straight forward, detailed description of what the feature in platinum are. I would be more likely to buy it, if there information were easily available.
