Moderator of the Month for July

The last few months have been a very testing time for many of us.

When I really needed help around the site, one person shone out above the rest.

He helped verify more than his fair share of stories, came up with some thoughtful forum posts, kept our team bouyed, and helped out enormously with site matters behind the scenes.

I consider him one of my longest-standing friends here. He's always polite, an excellent contributor to our writing community, intelligent, witty, has a brilliant mind, and is one hell of a writer.

Did I mention how handsome he looks in a kilt? He's fiercely proud of his "Scotch" ( kekekegay

) heritage and that Glasgow has been compared favourably with Las Vegas - in both places you can pay for sex with chips.

OK, I'll leave the humour to him.

Clum is hands down one of my most favourite people ever. Although not sure he'll appreciate being made out to be from Glasgow. Edinburgh might only be 45 miles away, but it's still the other side of the country, lol.

My mother's side of the family are from a place not far from Glasgow, and I know it's really not the done thing to mix up where anyone is from. There's a real West / East divide, as there is a North / South in England.

That's why I can get away with joking about these things. I'm half tartan blood!
