Ok roc, but sometimes whenever a sexual topic comes up and the majority of the room is talking about it someone will usually say "You should go to the bedroom to discuss that." Or something along those lines. People just may not know you can still discuss sexual topics in the Lounge channel.
Forget who you thought I was, I'm The Chris J bitch!
I don't know what the capabilities of your chatroom system are, but maybe custom rooms that are user-created that expire when it's been empty for more than (x) amount of time?
You can't make a room for every fetish out there, but at least those seeking someone to discuss such things could make a little nook to curl up in and socialize within it's confines.
If not that... maybe similar sub-sections as the already available story categories? They seem to cover a healthy portion of fetishes.

Clever idea Maous. I don't think the software is up to it though. Nor any other out there on the market.

There really is never more than 30 people on at once at the moment, what do you guys typically talk about?

Perhaps the chat mods who spend any time in there can make some suggestions?
There are times when the chat is dominated by a few members and the conversation is not the interest of other at that particular moment.

What would be nice, is to leave those chatting and for others to branch off into another room to start a new topic or chat

it is easier to direct new members to chat, to another room and invite them into the conversation, when we could generalize the topic
The topics change constantly in the main room (as they do in any chat room) and we refer any of those indicating they want to cyber over to the Bedroom. That was a good idea Maous had. I remember doing that at the old adult rooms, years ago. I can tell you from experience that many of those user-created rooms sat idle, or with a few people for private hanky-panky, and the room disappeared after the last person left.

We already have that capability with the private chat option....

Fuckin’ Fun - nothing but hot sex.

Cookies And Lemonade - a short story about a reporter who gets an unforgettable story when he interviews a 1940s actor.

Boardrooms & Boudoirs Part Nine - Grace invites Mac's sister to stay with them while she recuperates.

We do really chat about the most stupid to the most interesting things.
It is true, sometimes the chat does become dominated by a few members that chat to each other often.
We had one small incident were a few people became upset over nothing really, so other than that the conversation seems to flow. I dont think anyone is left out, those that are, seem to just loose track with the conversation.
So no, I dont think a interest chat room would be a good idea at this point.

Well I know on old IRC rooms I would go to, sub-rooms would disappear once unpopulated. Or if too much idling was going on. Seeing as how IRC is a bit... outdated, it could probably be adapted to more recent chat systems. I understand it's a bit of a leap though, just had a little thought and it didn't go through the filter of "Think, not type".

Maybe there just need to be more people actively using it, necessity is typically the mother of invention. Get enough people riled up and pining for rooms, and more accurate solutions might arise. A larger display for the chat rooms might help.
It's like a smooth-flowing river. You see great people flowing down it and decide if you're interested or not. If so, you jump in and join them. Otherwise, you wait for the next group (topic).
Some good points made there Maous.

How do you mean a larger display btw? It's full screen when I open it.
I have an idea, why not make the chat rooms like the forums on Lush, but more personal.

Guys talk to Gals etc.
Gals to Gals.
Guys to Guys.
Then what ever suggestions the Lush or Lushettes are in need of.

There is so much scope for so much more, but, only if there is the need. The last thing Lush needs is a load of chatrooms and nobody taking any interest in any of the writing and reading on here.

I wouldn't worry about that, we had over 1 million visits last month, most of which were to the stories
