Just a little prompt to promote my Dirty Talk comp story: Knickerless before it disappears into the bowels of the Lush story vault.
In a month, it hasn't yet gotten a thousand views, I am not sure why, but its, like and comment-to-views ratio is good, so it can't be terrible. 🙄😜 It is different to most of the other, often excellent entries.
This week, I plan to be reading and commenting/liking the Dirty Talk I haven't read and commented on yet. I am just over halfway.

That is a fair point, WW but I was comparing it to other stories in the comp, especially those around mine.
It is more likely that it was only on the front page for a couple of hours (that is becoming an issue here), I don't (yet 🙄) have a massive following and I guess humour is not the most-read genre.

That has practically no effect on views. My last comp winner has been on the front page for the last six weeks and has gained about twenty-five new views, one like and zero comments since the results were announced.
Honestly, nobody camps on the front page habitually pressing refresh to see what's new. They're more likely to check out the categories or tags that interest them and revisit those regularly, which brings us to...
humour is not the most-read genre.

Nice one for reading them all. And I agree there are some fab stories. Whatever the outcome, anyone who took the nerve-wracking step of submitting an entry should be proud of doing so.
I think I've read almost all bar a handful of stories that snuck in a day or two before the closing date. I'll try and get round to those when I can.
