I am not a photographer but I think if she is the body type you have described then you want her to have a few poses with one or both arms possibly stretched out above or behind her head. This will help elongate her torso and give an illusion of a slightly more lithe figure as it help avoid possible soft roll or two across her midsection.
A curvy figure is always a nice asset as the rounded lines of a nice hip and ass area can really be accentuated if she is turned slightly side on with her leg nearest the camera placed up on something like a small chair as if she was simulating pulling up some stockings. Another way to achieve this is if she was laying on a bed on her side and she appeared to be hugging/spooning a pillow or the sheets of the bed. Doing this is also a nice way for her to cover over her pubic area if she wishes to do nude but is not comfortable having everything showing.
My last suggestion would be having her lay on her back on a bed with her legs up on the bed head, you could take photos from a low angle at the foot of the bed with her looking up at the camera from her position. This puts the focus of the image more on her face and especially her eyes while turning her body into a delightful background possibly softly out of focus.
This position works very well when dressed in some lovely lingerie and accessories.
Just some things that I have found over the years when taking photo's of my wife.
Sounds great

Something that is always sexy, no matter the age or body type, is a woman in bra, panties, garters, stocking and high heels. If you're doing B&W photos I 'd suggest black for all of the above. Or you could do red but keep the body and face of your subject B&W. Just my 2 cents.
Sounds very erotic

Black and white can be very seductive
