I have recently gone back to some of the first poems that i have written and posted here on lush. I had set about giving each one a slight rewrite and once done i have posted them here. I have done 9 poems in total. On this thread i will describe each poem individually, and i hope you all give them a read and hope that you will enjoy them.

The first poem that i posted was called Ode to the breast.

This poem is about celebrating the natural beauty of the female breast in what ever shape and form.

I was inspired to right this poem in 2017 because of breast cancer awareness month and this poem is dedicated to anyone that has been through, battled, currently battling or they know some that has.

The second poem that i posted is called Come Take Me Home

This poem has quite a deep meaning to me. Because at the time i had been struggling quite a bit with depression at the time. But by now i am copping a lot better because of the support that i have had around me.

But also another reason for writing of the poem. Was that when i was in school i suffered a great deal due to bullies at school. And because of this the poem has quite a deep meaning and with the helping hand i was able come through.

The third poem that i posted is called I let her go (2019)

The poem is based upon my experience at college and when I first met only person I truly loved. At the time of writing this poem i still had feelings for her. But until the summer of last year. I finally saw her again, but I brought some closure when I realised that she was happy with her life and since that day I haven’t thought about her since.

The forth poem that i posted is called I am here for you (2019)

This poem was originally written, posted and dedicated to someone that was very special here on lush. But since poem was written they have sadly left lush. So i decided that i would update that poem and now the poem can be for anyone that is rough patch and they could give the poem a read give themselves that lift that they need.

The poem is about what you would do for the love of your life. There’s no mountain that you wouldnt cross to be with them and if you love some you would be there for them no matter what obstacle was put in your way.,
