If Milik is openly bashing the site, and saying he's going to be active on other sites, then do we really want him to have access to any mod forums at all? I think it's at cross purposes. He's clearly bitter now.

"under the circumstances I should no longer be a part of this team. In my view, a trust was broken that is far harder for me to accept than even I thought it would be. I do not feel comfortable placing awards or being involved in team activities.
I will say that for seven years I've been a productive and loyal member of this site. I believed it to be a special place of tolerance and understanding of all people. Well, things do change and the tone as it exists today is not as it used to be."
And relating to his thread:

I'm not sure how 'Lush' came off as the bad guy in this. We get a lot of criticism on the forums from members about the impartiality of the mod team when awarding RR's. It doesn't look good when a long-serving, senior moderator is the sole person to award of all of his girlfriend's six or seven RR's. We're supposed to be fair and impartial. Public perception is important.
It would be sad to see him go but it sounds like he has made up his mind.

What he's saying is essentially that mods should never question decisions made by other mods because of stature and rank, even if it genuinely concerns them, and to do so is considered unforgivable. This is exactly what people complain about when they claim favouritism and corruption. To follow this rule, we'd have to throw our integrity out the window.
I think it's best to remove his Mod privileges, as he requested, scrub this thread and put it back into the forum. If he deactivates (I doubt he'd delete, honestly), the choice is his.

Yeah, I think it's best to put it back up, properly scrubbed. I don't know if you want to scrub the bit where he talks about posting his stories to other sites though? It seems like that will invite more people coming to the thread to argue this issue on his behalf yet again and thump the site.
I can't imagine he would delete his profile, given the amount of stories and accolades he's amassed here. I don't even see him deactivating... I think he'll just drift away for a while to concentrate on his relationship.
He may have said he won't be needing the thread anymore because he doesn't intend on actively promoting his stories on the forums or posting here anymore, which is what that thread is being used for. But he may keep his existing collection of stories active.

Back in 2009, I wrote a poetic tale of unattainable supernatural love, romance and desire. Midnight's Embrace was written in a style I had not yet mastered and the final work exposed my inability to create the mood I desired. Now, seven years later, I have returned to that work and, with Jwren's editing help, brought it to life in the way it was always meant to be.

Bernie's House of Bangers is a written in a casual prose, folksy and frank. It's just 1800 words, as required by the competition, but I think I got a lot into it. I do hope you will decide to give it a read.

It's a new year and time to reflect on the old. There have been so many changes, bringing Simplicity into my life is the Everest of these, but down on the slopes of that change are many others. I have left the Mod Squad. Something that was probably long in coming but still carried some sadness for me. Other hurts bruised me and some friends were lost along the way, yet new friends were made as well. That is the joy of life. After my useual end of the year distractions away from lush, I have been able to complete a few new works in a rather short amount of time. As manu of these came during the holidays when we are all so very busy, I thought I'd take a moment to share them with you.
My latest, A Deal Made For Daddy, is a reluctance tale of a young woman from Hollywood who is forced into choosing between losing her way of life or giving herself to her fathers producer. I hoped this story would examine her angst and reveal her own desire for a powerful and experienced lover. This will be a two pet story and I'm deep into part 2 now.
