Hi all,

Looking for some advice on what to think about my gf’s guy friend. Possibly if any girls on here know what to look out for ect ect . Plus I have a couple issues I’d like to see others thoughts on . Cheers
Think positively. She may just need a longtime guy friend with a sympathetic ear to listen to her bitch about her jealous and suspicious boyfriend.
What do you mean what to look out for? Do suspect her of cheating on you with him?
She's a saint with the lips of a sinner.

It is likely none of your business. She is not your property.

Perfect response to an inane question and concern.......I have always had many male friends and it never bothered my ex-husband one bit. He knew I enjoyed having friends and with the amount of sports that I play, it is inevitable that you are going to have friends of the opposite sex. This is only your own insecurity at work here and you need to get over it quickly or you will be looking for a new girlfriend.....IMHO
You should be glad that your girlfriend has such a friend and is capable of enjoying friendships of this nature. It indicates a level of maturity which is generally indicative of a normal, socially developed person.

She should be aware of your insecurities though, so perhaps you should hash this out with her, and put her on notice.

You made me laugh with that. smile

OP, what everyon else said. Your girlfriend gets to have male friends. Some women prefer men as friends. I prefer women as friends, and it doesn't bother my girlfriend. It's allowed. It's even healthy!

I know. She's like the daughter I never had. Couldn't be prouder of if I tried

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Both Hubbie and I have vanilla friends of the opposite sex. Some as far back as our teenage years. Even back then the relationships were non sexual ones. We have had an open marriage since 1980 so we could both have sex with them. It’s just NOT that kind of friendship. So it can happen that guy gal
friendships can flourish without sex. If there is doubt as to a guy’s friendship with a gal turning sexual lipstick on his collar or neck, or leg makeup on his ears.

What are the other issues you want advise on. You mentioned needing advise but did not mention the issue.

She's probably sucked his dick a few times when you've pissed her off.

Over the past forty years most of my gf had other male friends. Some have other lovers. In more than a few cases I've been the 'friend'.

Some times its awkward, usually it seems normal and ok, a few times I have been friends with her other men. Jealousy is ugly, destructive, and a waste of time.
