I think fall in lust more than love.
Gold hearted fun loving Aussie Angel
I think it is possible but people have to be careful not to mix up love for lust
Active Ink Slinger
Yep. Screwloose and I have been living together for 13 months now and are about to buy a house. We are in it for the long term. My true love.

yes. I have found my true love here.
Lurker
Believes it is possible.

And possible to love someone here too.

Without seeing photos or in person..

As a friend or more.

I don't think love is a bad four letter word.

It doesn't have a minimum time frame in which to love someone. IMO

Meaning I need this amount of time to get to know someone.....not for me.

Like x amount of months...ect.....

Love is not quantitative.

Right or wrong, love has no logic or reason.
Active Ink Slinger
Yes. I've fallen. But he doesn't know.
Drink. Smoke. Fuck. Live!
Love Bug
Is it logical, practical or rational..... no. Is it possible? Yes. No one gets to judge another's true intentions. We cannot walk in another's shoes. I have been hurt, played and deceived. So now I fully intend to enjoy being loved. Others have said that here we let our inhibitions go and express things we would normally bottle inside. Maybe that is the key, maybe only here do we feel free to let our true selves speak. If all secrets and desires are out in the open and you are both being honest, why can it not work?
Lurker
You said the magic word. HONESTY. How do to you determine who is and who isn't. Without common sense and logic one leaves themselves wide open. Unfortunately the these type of sites bring out societies un-chosen people. Read up on adult sites. it doesn't hurt to ask logical questions.

I never would have thought so when I joined here. At all. But I can definitely see how it could now.

I can definately agree with the lovely lady above me smile I didn't think it was possible, but I was very wrong.
Lurker
You can agree with me because I'm always right. LOL

how can you see it happening? or what do you mean? ;)

Falling in love doesn't come with a manual, I guess you could meet the person of your dreams practically anywhere, I'd like to think the possibilities are endless, could be a nightclub, a lemonade stand, a library.

From my own personal experience, I once hit it off with a with a girl I met on an aeroplane from Darwin to Sydney. I don't see why the possibilities on the internet should be any different.

One thing is for sure, it will happen when you least expect it ;)

All I would say is, despite is crazily awesome sexual nature, Lush may be a harder place to establish a connection with girl than usual, because of the way a 'some' men behave here, it's forced girls to put their guards up and be suspect of all men that approach. It's a shame because I'm sure there are plenty of true gentlemen here, but unfortunately its the few spoiling it for the many.

Yes I think they do ,there have been relationships that have blossomed and some have not lasted the test of time .
Advanced Wordsmith
yes! Yes, people fall in love. I'm a perfect example of falling in love with someone on lush!!

just realized those are cracked heart :/
I definitely believe you can fall in love on here... I did in the past... It is difficult at best to maintain a long distance relationship... Being apart can add to heartache and drive one crazy too...
I do believe most people will spend more time here talking to someone than if they went on a date... I mean, if you take someone out to dinner, a total date would last maybe 4 or 5 hours on average... Out of that time you might spend a good portion of it talking... But there are so many life distractions that are just there... TVs, Waiters, other diners... Many things that distract you, even just a little bit... Here, you can spend hours talking with minimal distractions at best and have the confidence to be more open and share mroe of who you are in a short period of time... So not is it only possible, I think it happens much quicker here... smile

I would agree with this wholeheartedly. I've made a lot of friends on here that I'd still log in to talk to even if I didn't read here or do anything else here any more.
On the other hand, there are some who come on and catfish people into 'relationships' and those people suck. But you can meet some really nice people on here.
At least you know by meeting them here, you at least have SOMETHING in common :-)

Ahhhhhhh yes... the catfish... I totally agree that they suck! I am happy most of them are easy enough to spot a mile away... I also find the more time you spend here, the easier it is to spot the BS... I think I am an expert by now!! haha!!

I fell in love with a Scottish lassie on here but sadly lost touch.

I'm so curious as to how you spot it.

I can spot some and it's laughable...

Examples:

Like I know you're just saying that to get attention. So contrived and fake.

That is not your real body! Please.....

More importantly do you spot any b.s. with me?
Lurker
NO! if you think you love someone its probably lust.
Lurker
Obviously it starts off as lust. Look where they've met. LOL
But what if people got to know each other outside of Lush? Or are you talking about love in general? I think all love starts out as lust.
Active Ink Slinger
I would agree that considering you've met on a sex site, there is definitely an element of lust involved-you're both sexual people. But as someone who has met someone special on Lush, while you may add them because you find their profile attractive (photo or not), you only get on once you speak and have things in common. I've made some good friends on this site but also have found love, yes we have lust for eachother but we have a relationship outside of the site. Thanks to Lush-and his handsome photo, we've got a chance for more than an orgasm.

It doesn't work for everyone but it can work if you meet the right person and want to have a relationship.

love starts with understanding and knowing each other more. not by lust smile

Lust/attraction can build into understanding and knowing each other more and then into love.
