I agree with you! I've fallen 'almost' in love two times in as many months here on Lush. We even agreed that we would NOT fall in love (me and the girl), but we did anyway. Go figure.

For me love is a mental exercise not a physical one. I think in life we probably overlook the person who may make us happy because the barriers of class, lifestyle, looks, geography and a myriad of other things make it hard to connect to the mind of another person.We may pass them on the street and not even realize how much we have in common. We may see each other at a party and look away because physically we aren't each other's type so we don't explore the possibilities. But online you get to know a person before you ever see them. At least that is what happened to me. By the time we saw each other the physical aspect no longer mattered. It has been a life lesson for me.
I am speaking of honest people though. Not people who come here and do ridiculous things.

yes people can. It happened to me when I was least expecting it. I fought my feelings until he told me he loved me too. Long distance and marriage have made it hard, but it hasn't changed how I feel about him.

I totally agree. And it is because of getting to know the person before the physical it is a lot more likely you can fall in love with the person rather than just lust after their body. (because half the time you don't know what they look like)
So of course people can really fall in love on lush.

However, almost 3 years later I know it's love. Actually, I knew that very early on in our friendship. I don't doubt that. I think this is a place for lust, love has nothing to do here. If people think they are in love, they are confusing it with lust then. Thats my opinion.
