BTW, I have fallen so hard for someone here once that if it was not love, then I'd like someone to tell me what in hell it was!!

There is something to be said about revealing your "dirty secrets" to a person who loves that about you. Who makes you feel normal, protected, safe and loved. Lush allows you to be yourself without any filter. And when you meet someone that you enjoy without their real life filters, it can create an intimacy unlike anything most will ever have in our daily physical life. I don't like to call life outside of lush "real life" as life on Lush can be real as well.

People come here that are "in love" with their partners in their physical lives but say they cannot share Lush with them. It always makes me wonder what they are hiding from each other and what would happen if they just shared all their secrets. If there isn't truth in their relationship, is it truly a fully committed loving relationship? I'm not saying those couples don't love each other, but it seems a surface level love based more on tradition, convenience, obligation, affection, finances, etc. Those relationships don't seem like they are the Romeo and Juliet type of 'I'll die if I can't have you' kind of love.

Yes, love is rare. But after experiencing the depth of affection, lust, and love that I have with my love here, and comparing that to past "loves" that I've actually touched, there is no doubt in my mind who is my real life love.

Yes, you can get hurt here. But that can happen anywhere. Yes, there are liars here. But there are liars everywhere.

Yes, you can find love here. Love happens whenever two people connect at a soul level and put in the work to make it continue to grow. It takes incredible amounts of work, time, tears, heart and total commitment, but it can bring you a love like you never imagined could exist-not even in your best daydreams.

And that is truly rare anywhere.

This was so beautifully and clearly expressed, I was glued to your words. Thank you!!!!
I know of a few couples who have been fortunate enough to find their real life partner through this site. I think it's possible to develop feelings for someone, particularly if you end up taking it outside of lush and meeting in person. However, most of it is superficial.
Some here have found love, I’m friends with four couples here that met here on this site (that’s like 8 people out of 100,000s of members). That said I’ve also have seen and dealt with a bunch of nonsense of people saying things in the heat of the moment. Yes you can find people you click with and it can get intense and you may even talk off lush. Do I think people should look for love here? No I don’t because it is rare and most are just looking for a distraction from their real lives and so many friends of mine have been hurt by liars and assholes here... male and female. Like Candy said most of it here is superficial.

Totally agree with this ^

I have started relationships with women from forums in the past but never with the intention of "looking for love". If you find someone you really click with through normal conversation and then you "both" want to take it further then that is an excellent thing.

However, this is a forum about sex so don't be surprised if sex is perhaps the most important thing to your "other half"

Luckiest girl in the world to have found my man on here. Thank God for lush
Yes. An online relationship can become ‘real’ and getting to know someone’s mind first isn’t a bad way to start. However, I think the move from online to face to face meetings is essential if the relationship is to last. I don’t think an online only relationship has longevity. Correct me if I’m wrong.

you're wrong. 99% of the people here have never met me face to face and 100% of the people here are in love with me.

Only if you meet face to face. One never know if they are talking to a person or eggplant.

I’m sure if two people do ‘connect’ on-line, there are possibilities for love. It’s a good way to find out if you're compatible before deciding to meet up in real life. I would have to meet face to face.

Can confirm, just one week in on Lush and totally in love with sprite and my new friends on here. May or *may not* be an eggplant, I have to have some sense of mystery about me (-;

You know, I think people can fall in love anywhere, as our idea of love is all so different. I met my lover at a coffee shop, we locked eyes and started talking about our favorite bands. Then kink. Lol. We’ve been together twelve years now and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sure it has it’s ups and downs and things can come and go in waves but it was still meant to be. If it had been online, we still would have felt the same way. I’m just happy if other people are happy, to be honest. I definitely won’t tell others how to get their groove (-;

I fall madly in lust not love but I have met several people on here that actually found someone thru Lush so you just never know where you’ll find your person.

You can find a connection anywhere, and that's really all it takes - a connection, a spark, a shared moment. It could be online, in a coffee shop, a bar, a hockey game, a parade, a concert, anywhere, so why not Lush? smile

There is no other word for it. Why not call it "love." Some of us are more susceptible to this thing called love. I know that. I've found love several times here on Lush. I keep finding it. Sometimes it is stronger than other times. And sometimes it lasts for a longer time. I do know that I've been smart enough to actually tell the person how I feel. And I've been lucky enough to find out they share that love. They have shared it and still do. Maybe it is not lust. Maybe it is not passion. Maybe it is not sexually fulfilled. But it is love. Joyful love. Friendship love. Happy love. Just pure, open, responsive, faithful, fateful love. It is a good thing.
Active Ink Slinger
I certainly have become attached to others since I joined Lush...I think it's love...but the word "Love" can be used in many forms. I have felt the hurt when things have gone wrong believe me. Whether falling in love on here and taking it another level to meet in real life is a big decision especially if they live thousands of miles away. Yes you all know who you were/are.

Distance is not a barrier to love. Love means meeting hearts and minds in this spiritual world.These four letters inspire many different emotions and different definitions for everyone.As per my belief people can fall in love here.
