Thought I'd put a few words together for a rare poem

Dedicated to the beautiful alyssa, my beautiful bitch.

Tonight I face my greatest challenge,

To walk into the lion's den.

I feel your fingers touch me,

Dressing me slowly, piece by piece.

Like a knight before a battle,

with a squire by their side,

You prepare me for the fight to come.

I go like Cleopatra to face my Caesar,

Feeling my victory assured,

For I have your Devotion and your Love.

Going to stick this down here.
All feedback gratefully accepted and actively sought.
I'm doing a test run for how easily the muse can create a poem.
I put this down as a single stream of thought in the hope it would feel a lot more spontaneous and less forced.
