So many vices to chase?
Marijuana, Alcohol, Tobacco, Cocaine, or maybe some Meth in the rain?
Grasping at one of these addictions to chase away some sort of pain?
Maybe the pain of being at work?
Maybe the pain of paying some bills?
Maybe the pain of putting up with Prohibition?
Because it somehow diminishes those addiction thrills?
How to hide this addiction from ones family?
How to hide this addiction from ones own loved one?
How to hide this addiction from ones own boss?
And the most compelling hiding place?
Hiding it from ones own self?
Because the denial wears better on ones own tongue, than the truth does against ones own conscious.
To smell the Marijuana from the car ahead of mine, on the streets of any town USA?
Caucasian teenagers, Hispanic teenagers, and African American teenagers..
I've seen all three cultures of teenagers, smoking weed in their cars.
With not a care in the world, and not even with Mars?
Because life can appear to be foreign, when some might be addictively marooned on planet Addiction?
Awaiting for that day of Legalization?
To unjustly reward those addiction created efforts?
And then getting high, on how many families, and their own families time?
Yes, the addictions are worth those self created alienations?
Because the most costly alienation, is the one called Family Time.
