We have almost zero poetry submissions on this site - which implies almost no-one writes poetry anymore, or those that do, don't stop by erotica sites like this one. I haven't written any since high school Anyone else? Is it unfashionable these days? Seems so

To answer Lush
I scratched my tush
and sought for inspiration

My hubby brave
came to my aid
and gave me some dicktation

“Go to that Site
of pure Delight
and read the stories there”

And so I did
as he had bid
which left me soon quite bare

Those writers deft
soon caused my cleft
to weep for more attention

As I fell back
he felt my crack
so now I have to mention

To write a pome
I have to own
for girls has no little danger

Be sure your muse
is one you choose
and comes not from a stranger

An ode to Lush
oh so sweet!
but with Susan's prose,
I can't compete

Her language skills
are unsurpassed
her humour quick
and warm as brass

So thanks again
my literary friend
for your time on site here
that you freely lend

That's the best I can manage with half a bottle of wine inside me

Myself, I need to be in the mood to write or read poetry. I like it, but in small doses.

Don't be modest C2C - you made a fine crack at it in your contribution. Very good stuff. But I do agree with you about being in the mood, and the small doses too.
