Hey Lushers! Just joined. Came here primarily to publish erotic stories as most other sites are full of garbage. I never knew there was so much stuff on Lush! I literally thought it was just a story site.

I am unwise to the ways of Lush, so any advice for developing a robust community experience would be appreciated.

Figuring some things out myself, but help from the vets here is always appreciated.

Get publishing quickly. That will definitely help get eyeballs your way.

Build up your profile, of course, and make judicious use of the ability to feature stories on it.

Get posting in either the forums or chat (or both if you're someone who enjoys both) and promo your work there.

And, hey, pop into Rumps for a drink now and then. Just because there's a bear, lion, and ape doesn't mean we're a bunch of wild animals. Usually. Mostly. Well, maybe sometimes.

(Oh, and I'm probably not supposed to say this, but Straight Sex and Love Stories are not great categories if you want to actually get views. Get a story in each in case you want to go for the Omnium badge but if you are after views, then they are not a great option. Speaking from experience here.)
