Hi LB. Where ya been? Missed ya!

Okay, true story...I got a computer cause I needed an adult life. Recently, my live-in has gotten jealous that after my daily work is done, I get on here and talk to people and have a good time. He is always making comments about me being on the computer. I tell him, I would rather hang out with people than sit and watch him watch tv. When the commercials come on he talks to me...Ugh..So, after several comments about me spending time with invisible people, your sweet Lil_B turned into a Huge_B. I have been doing some spring cleaning and making it impossible for him to watch tv cause when I clean I gotta have music. Now he is telling me that the invisible people are probably missing me...LOL.

Hey LB I have friends I live with too and they also crack on me about having friends online

As long as I am a good girl all week and get my chores done, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get on here and have some fun. Everyone needs a chance to slip away from reality every once in a while...

Just let him know that we're real people, Birdie, and should be taken seriously. We're not cartoons or something. Which is more real? The stuff he watches on TV or us?

Bloodstone used to be.

Bloodstone, green jasper dotted with bright red spots of iron oxide, was treasured in ancient times and served for a long time as the birthstone for March. This attractive chalcedony quartz is also known as heliotrope because in ancient times polished stones were described as reflecting the sun: perhaps the appearance of the gem reminded the ancients of the red setting sun, mirrored in the ocean.

Medieval Christians often used bloodstone to carve scenes of the crucifixion and martyrs, for which reason it was also dubbed the martyr's stone. According to the legend about the origin of bloodstone, it was first formed when drops of Christ's blood fell and stained some jasper at the foot of the cross. A beautiful example of carved bloodstone with the seal of the German Emperor Rudolf II can be seen at the Louvre in Paris.

Even today, finely pulverised bloodstone is used as a medicine and aphrodisiac in India. Perhaps that explains why it is now rather difficult to find fine specimens of bloodstone on the market. Bloodstone is mined in India, Australia, and the United States.

VERY BERRY SMOOTHIE >>>>

So sweet ,yet so cold ...You're the one I'd like to hold .....

Berry Smoothie

cup Milk
cup Frozen Yogurt
whole Banana (frozen)
1 teaspoon Honey
cup Strawberry (frozen)
Combine ingredients in a blender, starting with liquid ingredients. Add ice for texture or other fruits, protein, or flax seed as desired. Though best with honey, sweeteners also work fine. If you're in the mood, a little rum wouldn't be amiss.

Red Apple Martini

1 ounces Apple Vodka
1 ounces Apple Juice
1 teaspoon Grenadine
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a martini class, rimmed with sugar and garnished with a red apple slice and a maraschino cherry. To rim a glass with sugar, first pour sugar onto a large plate, then wet the rim of the glass and spin it in the sugar. Immediately after, strain the martini into the glass before it can warm.
