A Star is Born, talk about an emotional roller coaster. Bradley Cooper and Gaga were absolutely incredible!

Did you cry? I'm looking forward to seeing this. I cry at everything!

Then you’ll be guaranteed to cry. When the movie ended, no one got out of their seat for close to five minutes. I’m sure they were trying to compose themselves.
The night that changed my life, a four part series of a married man lusting after his co-worker

...or was that just you? I am hopeless. I just cry over anything! So I think I will watch that movie alone lol
Recently watched Netflix's, Veronica, a Spanish horror movie, supposedly based on a true story. I'm curious if you or anyone else has seen it. After coming across this movie on a list of horror movies that people had difficulty finishing, I was intrigued.

I love foreign movies with English subtitles, with Amelie leading that charge. This movie is that. Plus, this movie also has a retro, Stranger Things feel to it too.

I really enjoyed this movie. Thriller. Great acting. Those kids were so damn good. The plot is similar to some, but different. Family tragedy and challenges. Check. Ouija board stuff gone wrong. Check. Visual and psychological tension. Check. Scary black spirit. Check. Using a commercial jingle as a spirit dispelling mantra, based on an old Sean Cassidy remake of Da Doo Ron Ron. Check. Catholic teenage school girls in pleated skirts with blind nun called, Sister Death. Inappropriate bonus. Bonus. And Check. Plot holes as big as VW Bugs. Naturally, as expected.

I saw Malevolent on Netflix. It was meh.

Solo. I wasn't enthused.
I am looking forward to seeing "First Man"
Suburra by Stefano Sollima. Really good, I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did. Complimented by a Music score largely by M83, sublime !
In the world's harsh wear and tear many a very sincere attachment is slowly obliterated.

it was entertaining fluff and quickly forgettable. silly

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

A Star Is Born
Miss Sinn is in......
I saw Halloween! It was great fun! I love Jamie Lee Curtis.
I'm really hoping to see Overload soon! Looks great.
Saw Halloween and really enjoyed it. I loved the original, and expected to be disappointed. It wasn't a game-changer like the first one, but it was solid and competently made.

The previews for The Possesion of Hannah Grace look terrifying.
I want to see A Star Is Born

I saw Game Night on HBO. It was pretty funny.
Saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night. For what was essentially a 2hr15m Queen music video it was pretty good. Great balance of humour and drama as I knew very little about Freddie Mercury's life. And the cast looked so much like their counterparts it sold the story.

Funny though. The older couple next to me in the packed cinema tutted and muttered to each other every time there was a gay kiss or exchange on-screen.

"Ohhhh, we don't want to see that do we?"

"No." *rootles around in popcorn and munches, looking away from the screen*

"Oh no, that's not right."

etc.

I'm like Hello, it's a story about Freddie Mercury, what did you expect?

Some people, smh.

This is the only reason why I want to see it!

In all seriousness, he was quite the legend. Looking forward to watching this.

Agree with what you say about Halloween! ( and anything beats part 4 and 5...*shivers* )
Losers.
Can't wait for -- Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Aquaman

Agh and this one is only next year -- How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
Cold Mountain. (Jude Law has amazing eyes)
I've seen a lot of new movies but this is probably the best one I've seen lately.

It's a remake of a 1973 film (Which is also pretty good.) Based on the real story of Henri Charrierre, who was sent to Devil's Island Prison in French Guyana in 1933.
