Ant-man

I liked it a lot. I'm not normally into super hero movies or comic book characters.

My recommendations:

Inside Out (I don't think that I could tire of this movie. I hope that it gets Best Picture Nomination.)

Dope (freaking amazing! It didn't stay very long in the theaters though. I hope the main actor gets a Best Actor Nomination.)

Mad Max, Fury Road (the most kick ass movie I've seen for a long time.)

Ant-man

Max

The Gallows (very creepy)

Not coming for a few more months, but I wish to see this:

Documentary: Amy. Really, really good and very sad.
Comedy: Trainwreck. I didn't think I was going to like it that much, but it was really funny. Well written and acted.

New movie? It Follows; fantastic horror flick, Maika Monroe is shaping up to be a future great scream queen between that and The Guest. Older? Let Me In, Cocoanuts, Yojimbo and Pi
And I've only begun fucking with you people.
At the end of the day, it's all math.

Saw Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation on Saturday. The action was great, I love the current cast, and the movie score was incredible. Two thumbs up.

In an open air cinema lying on cushions and drinking booze on Sunday evening on the banks of the river Vlatava in Prague I watched Slow West. I find it hard to believe that the old west was as violent as the movie depicted - there would be no population left. However it was an interesting study in the domino effect of actions and the symbolism wasn't too bad. The acting was ok and there was no phoney fast draw rubbish.

The man from U.N.C.L.E. It was really entertaining. Armie Hammer is sooo hot in it. It was pretty clever.
I want to see The Visit.

The Gift was mostly hype IMO. Big shocker there, although someone may really like it.

I finally saw Unfriended a few weeks ago and I was foolish to think it was actually going to be good. Because it wasn't, it was horrible and stupid.

This past week, my mum and I went to go see No Escape. That is a really great movie! I'm not a fan of Owen Wilson, but he did wonderful in this film. Truly an intense kind of movie.

The other night I watched Max. If you like military type movies and seeing what our heroes and their families go through, you have to see this.

I can't wait to see Sinister 2, I liked the first one a lot. It wasn't super scary, but it was enough to keep my attention.

What a wonderful place to see a movie.

I really want to see End of the Tour (duh) but am resigned to the reality that it will not come to town and I have to wait for Redbox/Netflix.

Last movie I saw in a theater was Inside Out. Animated, but really good depiction of a tweener girl's brain (which I see on a daily basis but I find ever-confusing). Smart, surprisingly complex, not overly sentimental. I liked it.

On TV, I saw a horrible 80s TV adaptation of Stephen King's It. Good book. Inane movie.

Mission Impossible. Great action movie. Tom Cruise is hot.
