this. last month i went through my forum history and was QUITE shocked to see that there was a time when i was a regular poster in the social/flirty threads (this was YEARS ago). i popped in a few and noticed that i posted under a variety of people. the problem is - hardly anyone visits the threads anymore. at any given time i haven't seen more than twenty members in the threads at once. add to that that word games has its own regulars, and a shitload of repeated threads, so you get the same people in rotation. this has caused me to visit these types of threads once in a blue moon. until more people visit, we're going to continue to see the same. obviously some don't mind

Why do you suppose there aren’t more people in here posting? There used to be. Ask people you know who used to frequent these ones, why they don’t now. Because it didn’t matter how many people came here, you’d still be posting under the same person who posted only an hour or two previously.

the people that i used to post under either deleted, or no longer visit the forums/lush on a regular basis. i was just highlighting another factor in the equation. and yes, i agree with you on the bolded portion.

I stopped counting them all at 26 and there were still more and there’s that many again on the other entertainment forums. You don’t need that many when you have the same handful of people posting on them multiple times every day. It’s not just me it annoys but as usual I’m the only person who will say anything. They’re not even word games.
