These blurbs appear every time I go to Activities.

1. I have no idea who any of these people are or what photo is referenced. I seldom dive into the Gallery snakepit at all and most certainly not for what these folks find enticing.

2. How do they know? I never get a notice that anyone's looked at any of my images. I do get some 'likes' but there's no way for me to like the like that I can see.

3. How do I stop them? The accompanying images are quite disgusting.

I found the Ignore thing, thank goodness. Question 2 still stands, if anyone has an answer.

In respect of your second point. This is my understanding (but am possibly wrong).

Firstly no you cant Like a Like on a photo. When you upload photos, those that are public and not placed into the Misc folder, will appear in the public gallery and everyone can view them (subject to a paid membership) and opt to view, comment and like. Futhermore using the member search they could find you and do the same from your profile page. All of this subject to your privacy settings of course. And no you dont get a notification of a comment or like on a photo but it is reflected in your profile comments.

This is confusing. If someone comments/likes an image of mine, either before I remove it from the Gallery or from my Profile, I do get a notice on the Bell icon. That's as expected, just like a comment on a story or whatever. My question was how did the person know that I had simply looked at some image of theirs and then like me for doing so? How is Lush determining this and creating the blurb on my Activities page? Like I said, I have no idea who the cited users are and most certainly don't wish to see pictures of their pierced penis or ejaculatory excess.

I did figure out how to hide them, so that point is moot.

Liked you? A user can like your profile. Is that the option that has you confused?

None of us know who has looked at our pics(from gallery or by visiting our profile and seen image that's not pvt) unless they've liked the image and those likes are visible through "ACTIVITY" and under "COMMENTS" section.

Can you take a screenshot of the notification you've received that states that you were liked because you liked their pic?

Users don't know you saw their pics on gallery section unless you visited their profile and by visiting their account, your image is saved under the "Recent Profile Views"

I'm sorry I'm making a muddle explaining this.

The message appears on the Activity page in the Status column. After the first half dozen posts, it will appear column wide stating "XYZ liked that you viewed his photo" and below that a montage of additional images, in this case a selection of poorly photographed penis piercings.

If I skip by it, I get another bunch of friend's status posting, then Mr. XYZ again.

I regularly like images from a very few members who share my interest in photography. I have never seen a banner pertaining to them. Likewise leaving a comment, some of which I know have been liked.

Unfortunately, I can not take a screen shot. Once you've hidden someone, it is purged and unhiding them does not bring it back.

I wrote too soon. I logged out and when back, the banner was again in the status feed o my Activity page. I didn't think the his images were needed.

I've never seen that status alert before.

Thankyou for posting screenshot and I'm sure Admin will know what to do about this.

So basically, in the "activity" page (depending on your level of membership); you can see who has looked at your profile, who is a match and who has media you might like, yadayadayada...

It also shows you a limited list of who has looked at images in your media folder(s). (Like an story).
You then have the option to "like" that somone has viewed your media upload.

In this case, you would have viewed that photo at some point and the member hit "like" on that item of activity on their own activity page..

I am guessing this is just another way to get people interacting and building friendships here.

Nope. I have nothing like that on my Activity Page. It shows folks who have looked at my Profile (with no "like" option offered), but nothing about my media past the very dubious "Summary of your media stats."

If this is the new Lush idea of building relationships, I think I'll ignore the Activity page altogether.

But Activity page is like the news paper.

I still haven't received the notification you've seen. Maybe because I don't have pic folders and all of my uploaded porn pics live in the public folder? Maybe, maybe.

You can ignore those notifications or if need be, block users so they don't interact w/ your pics/profile. Do what's best on your end to enjoy the site.

I'm getting the same notifications, and they're confusing indeed, as there seems to be no way to like the fact that people have looked at your pics. So what does Lush base this info on?

Can any of the mods/developers tell us what Lush uses to base this info on?

I think this "feature" has been discontinued, at least in my case, since the initial question. The few times I have looked at the Activity Page, I've just seen the inaccurate statistics and Status posts from the people who still bother. Are you still seeing them?

No idea. It's tech's own software and they probably tweak it every so often to respond to feedback.

The activity feed is still there for who has viewed your photos, as is the ability to like that someone has viewed the photo.

However, i'm not sure if the notification is still sent to the user if i was to like the feed. (Assuming it would?)

I just tried it with a test account. Liked my own photo, then went back into my own account. I had a notification that the test account liked my photo and it also showed in my activity feed. When I cleared the notification however, it cleared it from my activity feed too, so I was then no longer able to like this.

The activity feed used to show me who looked at my stories. It seems to no longer show that. Maybe it is because I am a free loader/non paying member.

Hiya, I don't ever remember it showing me who just looked at stories, but I do get notified if someone likes, scores or comments. You should be able to access this from your avatar menu - comments and then you can filter on story comments and likes from there.

Kudos for using the word 'snakepit' for the Gallery. Not everyone likes everything.
I realize this is an older post, but wouldn't it be amazing if you could apply the minimal filter to the Gallery.
I don't mean AI image evaluation, just something simple to code like hiding all by username.
