Uploading personal videos.

I tried uploading a video I shot on my iPhone. After uploading the image was distorted. Any thought on how to upload without distorted?

What resolution was the video?

If its 2K resolution (2048 x 1080) or higher, that could well be a result of compressing the file on upload.

The same if the video was recorded with camera satbilization switched on.

Also, if uploaded to say, something like or Tiktok, they will gradually lose quality if re-downloaded from there and re-uploaded somewhere else.

I am sure I have seen this before and orientation made a huge difference. As I recall it was fine uploaded landscape.
