Unable to send IM's

I am unable to send IM's for some reason. I click on "send online message" and it jumps to top of the profile page. At first I thought maybe the person blocked me but it is happening on every person I try. So I assume there is a problem. Is anyone else having this issue? I was able to send IM's earlier today.

I'm having the same issue, as well as a few others. I've let gav know so he can have a look.

There's a temporary glitch. Avatars aren't showing either.

Our coding team is on the case.

I posted another thread about this issue. I'm relieved it's not just me. It looks like other functions are affected too.
