The Island comp banner on the front page...

Is absolutely gorgeous. Love how it brightens the place up and catches the eye. Good job on whoever picked it. I'm almost thinking we need something like that fulltime to brighten things up. The red and white is nice and is the classic look and feel of the place, but some more colours, esp. bright ones like that, would be quite welcome.

As you know, the abundance of red on this site is a long-standing bugbear of mine. Some complementary accents would do wonders for the site and its usability.

Edit: I loved playing with the geocities-izer before it disappeared, taking honest to goodness modern sites and making them gaudy monstrosities full of scrolling text and garish colours. Fun!
