Sound Notifications In Chatroom

I no longer receive sound notifications in the chat room when someone messages me. Sound is on both on my computer and in the chat room and I have not found any other settings where it is turned off. Could it be a browser issue? Using Firefox 69.0.1 on a mac.

I have most notifications blocked in FF. Lush is listed in the exceptions but I don't get BBs via it. Last I was in the chat rooms with volume on, I was still getting sounds.

I use opera for Lush because of the notification issue, but the sounds stopped working after plenty of digging. I had checked all the options various google suggestions and ended with the volume controls on windows.

I had volume on full, but that was the speakers... when I opened the mixer, I found that system sounds was on mute. I've not been into the chat rooms with volume on for a while.

If you are still experiencing the problem please try this:

Housekeep your browser history, cookies, thumbnails, temporary files etc.
If the problem remains please try another browser.
Re-install Firefox if the problem persists.

In my experience the problem is almost always resolved by re-installing the browser.
