From the testing I have done, yes gifs can take, by no means always, quite a long time to appear in ones media centre. It is my understanding that media processing is actually managed by 3 processes, static, gifs and videos. In respect of gifs it is a complex process because quite often they are converted to MP4. The site processes a huge volume of uploads every day and depending on overall system load processing times will vary significantly.

I will try to make a test gift with maybe 2000 frames From scratch, But most all gifs are made from MP4 (The adult sites).
Well I'll tell you it wouldn't be bad if I could just use MP4, But the chat rooms With images enabled it always show links not a preview window like in groups or in mail All my profile page. Putting a preview window there would be nice And solve my dilemma

I've always worked with a multitude of Adobe products but mostly illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Years ago, I was an R & D technician. For Codex Corporation, Mansfield Mass. Backbone delivery equipment for what we now call the Internet. Dabbled in web design PHP, MariaDB, and UI scripting.

That date rung a bell so I checked my diary... I was at the hairdressers for 3 hours for a perm and highlights and it cost me a bloody fortune! Sorry I am not aware of any changes to the site on that date. #insertreallyniceimageofhairdohere#
