Problems uploading new gallery pictures

Hi All - is anyone else unable to upload pics. to their gallery? I am - not sure if it's a Lush issue or an issue from my side ?

Or, maybe the pics. are far too tame and I need to 'spice them up' a bit !

Do you get an error message or anything? There is a maximum limit of how many you can upload. Have you reached that limit by chance?

I tried uploading a picture and it works fine for me.


I'd check following:

Image file size. It has to be less than 4mb to be uploaded to the gallery. (1mb to the forums)

You've reached your storage limit, you'll find out how much you got left of your limit where you upload the pictures.

Clear your cookie jar. Somehow cookies always seem to play hoax on us so it's always good to empty the jar from time to time just because.

Could also be the file format?

is it Jpg, gif or png?
If it's not then it wont post.

Well it seems the problem I have is that my camera saves/loads the pics. as JPEG and not jpg files. I can upload from the internet and from my phone without any difficulty.

Any 'techie Lushie bods' know how I can convert my pics from JPEG to jpg please?

I have some lovely scenic pics of the Scottish Highlands for my gallery you see !!!

Well, actually the formats JPG and JPEG are exactly the same, but if you want to convert your pictures to another format, this website will do it www.pictureresize.org/online-images-converter.html I've never actually used it myself, but it's pretty easy looking. Also, try clearing the cache in your browser. That can sometimes cause photos to not upload properly. In some cases just exiting and re-entering the browser will help.
