Pictures in a story

Can I put a picture in my story to give a visual image of a character? Is it permitted to put pictures in stories?

I can't remember ever seeing a picture embedded in a story. I don't know if that's because it isn't allowed or maybe because Lush isn't set up technology-wise to permit it. I'm sure one of the mods will provide the correct answer here. But if they don't then you can ask them that question directly.

There had been a move to enable illustrations on the old site IIRC but the current doesn't support it. So make sure your cover image accurately portrays the character. That's the only solution I know of. Would be a nice feature.

Frankly, though, describing the character well in the story and letting the reader's imagination take it from there is the best approach for a writer anyhow.

And, yes, I do have an image.of Minnie as the cover for my latest story but I couldn't think of a better image than a woman in a mall given the plot. It is not my norm.
