icons on profiles

Hi, I wonder if anyone else thinks there should be an icon letting people know your orientation next to your profile or photo. so when people check when you are online and they want to browse a particular profile they will know if the person is straight, lesbian, transgender, etc. I think it would be easier and then allows you to choose whether to view a profile not only by gender but also by preference.
If this is an acceptable idea, I wonder whether the site mods will raise this to see if it can be introduced. Maybe I am not alone in thinking this would be a great addition.

we do have a place for it on people's profiles. interesting idea, tho we have quite a few orientations, so it might get a little complicated to put it into practice. curious to see what others think.

Should the icon reflect one's orientation or the gender one's attracted to? "Straight" can be difficult to interpret if one's username and avatar do not clearly reflect their gender.

As an aside I note your avatar image is landscape when presumably you would prefer it to be portrait... please see this thread:
