How do you get the Grooveshark playlist to play automatically when someone clicks on your page rather than them having to manually click on it? I've gone to Grooveshark and cannot find anything about this feature anywhere. If anyone knows please let me know.

Thanks

It took me a while to find it, but here's what it say's on Grooveshark...

Tips:

To make a widget autostart when the page loads, you need to edit the widget code just a bit. There are two &p=0. Change both to &p=1.

For Playlists, any and all changes you make to the playlist will be reflected in your widget.

It is not possible to create a widget from an Artist or Album.

Personally, I find it slightly annoying if you have the autostart set, as nine times out of ten I already have music playing myself, and then you end up with that horrible sound of two tunes playing at once.
Fastest way to annoy or make me back button off a page is an auto play. People HATE it.
Autoplaying grooveshark is perhaps the most obnoxious thing you can add to your profile. It truly baffles me why anyone would do it

Do people have this purely to make visitors leave their profiles? I'd love a setting that would block grooveshark completely. You may have picked up, that I don't particularly like it

This!

I frickin hate autoplay. I almost always have my computer muted at all times now just because of that. No volume is low enough. I don't want to hear it.

I so agree. I hate going to profiles with this feature. I'll avoid them the best I can.

I'd love the same setting. I think we need it.

Don't listen to these wet blankets Buz. I would actually like to hear your playlist start up. Adds personality to your profile.

I had this set on my page at one time. Eventually, I drove myself mad with it because not always was I somewhere where the music starting up was appropriate. Then I thought, what about those few who visit my page? I removed it after a week. Im not going to say its obnoxious, but I do find it a little irritating. But I guess this was not a thread on opinions about it, but just thought I would put it out there as some food for thought.

Of those times when the music started up in inappropriate places, how inappropriate was it to be going on a sex site to begin with?

It was not the fact that being on the site was inappropriate, the sound was inappropriate. You know, church, the library, funerals, at work etc...

I fucking hate it when someone's playlist starts automatically.

I tend to avoid their page if it starts automatically.

Second most obnoxious thing is to see someone's cock laying out there, or their pussy open and slobbering .... yuck! I avoid those pages as well.

I only find it obnoxious if their music sucks!

No doubt! Yuck!
I hate Grooveshark. I have a terrible time, trying to get the embedded code to appear in my browser. I have to right click over and over for it to come up on the right page! Annoying

I've left my Grooveshark where you have to click it to play it. The first several songs on mine are country music so be warned, if you're a wimp you may not like it. And yes I do have a 4WD pick-up truck with a gun rack. That's just me.

I had to change my phone's ring tone from "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw?" when I forgot to turn my phone off before church. Shit! The timing couldn't have been worse... during a pastor's call for a 'moment of reverent silence.'
The annoying security notice that pops up as soon as you visit a grooveshark blemished profile is one thing, but sound coming from a page as soon a you open it is an even worse user experience ever in my mind. Especilly if you, like me, often open links in background tabs. It's no fun if one starts demanding attention from the background.

Totally agree. Nothing will make people backbutton faster than an unexpected sound coming when they didn't expect it. Any website that does that is not thinking. Your page your choice, but you'll just piss most people off by doing that.
