SS is Stories Space. It's a non-sexually explicit story site. Many write on both sites. SS or blue as some call it, has a much smaller membership but a fun, supportive group.

I suspect there is some serious miscommunication here, and maybe inflamed by some technical glitch with the chat system. I do hope you two can work things out.

That's the point I was going to raise.

If people are being harassed/coerced into voting 5, then the avg score system becomes completely meaningless.

Also, if members are encouraged to vote only on stories they feel warrant a 5, then surely that would have a bearing on the number of votes being placed on stories. From what I can see, that has already happened. There are the hundreds of thousands of members on this site, yet very few votes are placed on stories -- most don't even make double figures.

It seems the selfishness of some people is ruining it for those of us who want honest feedback and care about the writing aspect of the site.

Thank you Ping for your taking the time to explain to me all the things you posted here.

I still think there needs to be a way to reprimand those writers that harrass their readers. a block is sufficient enough, if all the care for is a fake score of a 5.

I completely agree with you, and I still say they need some form of reprimand for any harrassing they do to anyone.

When an author submits a story they should follow certain rules. such as what is to be expected and what is not. I was looking at the process of how you enter stories on here and no where in there are there rules except for what is not allowed in the story.

I think author behavior should also be something stated before any one gets published on here. and if an author is a repeat offender of such things then a period of time with out been allowed to enter any stories would be good.

as petty as it might be it is unacceptable to react to any score even a one, they are writers, and as suck should be able to take criticism good or bad. Any other reasons for harrassment should be reason to suspend or stop the writer from writing on this site.

maybe i am being to pushy but this experience, has really left a bad taste for this place and for sometime I will stay away from scoring anyone that is not a 5, and further more I will not ever again touch her stories.

I would give that opportunity, but she never did she immediately went into the where do you know tony from? and when I tryed telling her I did not know a tony on here she was upset and left and blocked me
