I created a post and added a paste over text hyperlink pointing to a media album. When it posted there was a banner added that takes you to a user's profile. I went back and tried to deleted it from the post, but it still shows up in a quote. Am I the only one who sees this or is it visible to any reader? What's its purpose?

If you press the red cross next to the post link when you're writing your post, it should remove the extra link

And you should be able to edit a post and remove the banner link after. The red X should be there (hopefully).

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 115 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 75 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 11 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

I did do that, but as shown in the image above, it is still there and active if the message is quoted by someone.

But why is it pointing to someone's profile page and not the actual linked item? I think the user name "Media" has it confused.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah it's a username issue. Should be sorted thanks.
