Are we ever getting the famous and legendary badges back?  How disappointing if they are never coming back?

What about our folders in our mailboxes?  Are those lost forever?

Views seem unimportant now and I think the like button is silly on the stories.  Now it’s hard to even get a comment because people just hit like.  It should be either or in my opinion.

Still can’t grab pictures from camera to post on walls.

Hoping these things come back to Lush.

The one and only folder that I had HAS come back, sort of.

It has reappeared in my inbox but not as a folder but as lots of individual messages.

That happened yesterday apparently.

Badges that are still missing have been reported.

Mail messages have been imported now as far as I'm aware. They will just all be in your main inbox as we don't have folders any longer.

The photo upload option should be coming in the next few weeks.

There are loads of design features on the development list but these will be longer term as previously advised. Sorry I can't be more specific with timescales, but they're pretty resource intensive.

Is there any way one can print out a story once published - Lush 1 had a pdf provision so I could print and read the story away from the PC. Lush 2 seems does not seem to have it or I cant find how to.

Not at the moment, but will hopefully return

If you have a suitable driver (or it's built into your browser or operating system) then you can visit a story page and print it to PDF.

I tried it on a MacBook the other day (cmd-p -> save to PDF) and it worked fine, albeit the spacing on headings was rather squished. That's easily solvable with a stylesheet tweak and is on my list of things to report once all the big stuff is out of the way.

Haven't tried it from a mobile device yet.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 115 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 75 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 11 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

Ah, good stuff.

Yeah, I can do that on my phone.

I go to a story, then hit my browser settings and go to 'share' then print. Where you select the printer device also gives the option to save as PDF.

I post screenshots when I get a sec.

If you download Opera Browser it allows you save the whole page, including pictures and comments, as a PDF. The formatting is excellent. Everything comes out exactly as seen on the monitor.
Be nice to each other

Mine is android and chrome. Hopefully something similar exists for most devices.

Overall I prefer the previous format

Could go to my favorite forums easier and each author's type of story

much more difficult now

However you do have some  of the best authors

Nice workaround, WW!

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Curious: How did you handle people like me who disabled downloading their stories as PDF (to avoid piracy, mainly)?

And I do hope that any restoration of the ability to export to PDF includes either that option or locks up the PDF tighter to make it difficult to extract the text. I actually edited a story I had lost the original Word file for simply by opening the PDF in Word so I know the ones generated before were unlocked and fairly easy to extract data from.

Personally, though, as others have discussed and demonstrated, it is fairly easy to get a page into PDF nowadays (Windows 10 includes a Save to PDF print driver, for instance) so maybe this capability is not that important.

In truth, there is no way to fully protect a web page. All you can do is stop the casual user. Any older version of Internet Explorer will allow you save any page to MS Word. Browsers like Opera will also let you save pages as a PDF with a single click.

True enough, but still doesn't hurt to have some control. In the end, we've had the old site scraped multiple times in spite of Nic and Gav's best efforts to prevent it but that's not a reason to make casual misuse easier.

Yes of course. My problem is dyslexia, I find it very difficult to read stories over a few hundred words or so. I like to listen to them with TTS.  Unfortunately, a lot of locked paged don't allow that. I have to save them to either MS Word or PDF first. Then I can choose any voice in TTS. I will be listening you your horror story later. I do hope it's not too scary.
