Badge not showing up

I haven't received my contestant badge since the competition was over. I'm looking forward to seeing it soon.

I assume you are referring to the Flash Photography competiton... that being the case I cant see you in the list of entrants. What was the story title please? Was the story possibly rejected?

No, it wasn't the Flash Photography competition, it was the Swing into Summer competition. The story wasn't rejected. It was titled Coffee and Cream.

Oh, and while you're in the files, can you possibly add my collaboration and autobiography badge also? Thanks luv🍓

If you are fixing badges, John… both Kimmibegood and I appear to have lost our Omnium badge.. though some people still have theirs like Cumgirl so it’s not like the Omnium has been deleted.

It's weird. I had it at one time since Lush 2.0. But now it's gone again.

Can't add that one at the moment, I'm afraid. It's coded automatically so you get it if you write in all the categories. I've asked if we can omit the way we used to, but not sure yet if we can, or if we can keep it with the addition of a new category.

It’s unusual that Kimmi lost hers as she hasn’t written in the new face sitting category but Cumgirl still has hers even though she hasn’t written in that category either. All 3 of us got the Omnium before Facesitting was added. I hadn’t written in but CG and Kimmi had.

It’s such a niche badge, I think there were only 13 members out of how many thousands of authors we have here who completed the Omnium so I’m sure it wouldn’t be that much work to assign them manually.. I know there are badges such as Potato and Rainbow which aren’t connected to an algorithm or assigned automatically so perhaps the Omnium could be like those.

Perhaps an email could be sent to Admin automatically when an author writes in all the categories so the Omnium could be awarded then.

I’d be very disappointed if a condition of getting the Omnium back would be that I had to write an story.

We'll have a look once the profile rejig is done next week. Absolutely happy to leave out, but it'll be easier overall if we can leave the coding set up to award automatically, which may mean losing it if a new category is added. They're few and far between and no more are planned, so hoping it wouldn't be too onerous for anyone active to either move a story over or write something new. Not sure what's going on with the facesitting category. I'll pick it up next week

Is there is a plan to have a list, somewhere on Lush Stories, of all the badges we can try to achieve? I know there was a list on Lush Stories 1.0. I know some of the old badges are phased out & new ones are now available, with more in the works.

Yes… at the bottom of the page in the black bit there’s a badges link where it lists them all
