Well, it's 2022 now and they have this great product called PReP which pretty much effectively kills the HIV virus when it's encountered. I am not on it as yet but my trans partner is and is Polyam. I'm fine with condoms but bareback has its advantages, too. For me to bareback, it would have to be a committed relationship and probably either monogamous or if poly, then with rules around who we can play with and testing. If the relationship was with a woman and children were not a goal, then some other form of birth control would be needed, of course.
