The Mass Effect Series Appreciation Thread

Another series which I greatly enjoyed. I loved the overall narrative of these games, especially how you had to make difficult decisions which significantly impacted how the future events would unfold through all three games. The interactions with your squad were awesome too, and the science fiction themes were better and much more in-depth than in most movies I've seen.

Myself, I played as a female Shepard which was a Sentinel... and a total Renegade badass.

It actually created quite a lot of drama on the Normandy, especially in Mass Effect 2 where both Miranda and Jack kept acting like bitches... I guess they were simply jealous of my leadership on the field and my blonde hair. Oh, and I was skilled with shotguns and brutal close combat, and I was having a lesbian interracial relationship with Liara T'Soni.

I loved most of the characters, but the most interesting ones were definitely the non-human squadmates: Garrus, Tali, Liara, Mordin, Thane, Legion, Javik, etc.

I just started replaying through this series again. Love it.

First time I was a male soldier. Boring but fun.

Now I'm going through it as a female adept. Much more interesting.

I played as a Female Shepard, infiltrator, and my karma was kinda balanced the whole way through. Also I totally loved Thane and his soulful memories. Such an emotive character, so sexy and flexible as well ;)
