My workout begins at about 4am. I usually wake up at 2:30am, try to wake myself up, eat a little bit of food, then get right to it. I find that I have the most energy and motivation for the day when I get the exercise completed first before anything.
Up at 4am to run 5 days a week. Cardio and weights in the afternoon before supper.
I’ve been preparing for boot camp, so I weight train (alternating muscle group isolation days) every morning at about 0345 until about 0500, and then I do cardio until about 0530. I find that this particular schedule works best for my work and school schedule, and keeps me motivated throughout the day.
Late morning meaning before noon but after 10 o'clock. Depending on the workout I might be busy until noon. Back days are the longest for me. I train back, tri's and bi's that day. Heavy on the back and tri's, light bi workout.
During my dreams.

May I ask what time you go to bed? I know that my sleeping pattern doesn't really fit the timezone I live in (or perhaps even the planet we live on), so I'm definitely no general point of reference in that regard, but it seems that you're already up for at least an hour or so when I go to bed.

I work out Monday through Friday, usually from about 8:15 to 9:30. M,W,F are weights days, and T,Th are cardio days, with at least a fifteen minute walk/run to get the heart rate up to max, and maintain a good fat burn rate. I have to go every week day, right after my dog's ,morning walk, or the gym doesn't happen. I also walk the dog three times a day most days, so that's another 2-3 miles of walking daily.

Usually early morning, weights, and some cardio. Weather permitting, I then ride my bicycle to work and home again after work.
Early evening, around 5.30. Means by the time I finish, rush hour is over, and the journey home is quicker and easier. Also, after five is when many of the girls from the local stores and the University get there, so there is plenty of female company.

Is that before or after you do a few self affirmations and then gaze at the motivational cat poster on your wall?

That comment cracks me up, thank you, it made my day. FYI: Self affirmation is not in my wheelhouse, I am probably the most self confident man you would ever meet. My motivational poster would not be of a cat, it would be of my hot, sexy wife!
Early morning because the gym is less busy. Plus it leaves me feeling good for the rest of the day
6am or 11pm. Depends on my mood.
Straight after work at 8am

Thank you for rolling with it and not getting too defensive.

You sound like me. Most people see exercise as something to "get out of the way" though. I find that people get it wrong. When I make my workouts the highlight of my day things go better than to see working out as less of a task and more of a hobby.

It would take a lot more than a sarcastic, but funny comment to upset me. I thought the cat reference was hilarious.
Very early in the morning.I start work at 630am ,so usually 4am
Pretty much anytime but mainly prefer evenings.

I swim about 8k a week on average, cycle about 80k per week and sometimes run but more like only 5-7k per week.

Depends on the the day and the workout. If I am swimming, I prefer after work(first thing in the morning) if its a run or a bike I tend to go early afternoon. If its a long run or a long ride, I leave mornings, so I can get home in time for dinner.
Lately it’s been after work because that’s the only time I can now, so late afternoon.
Though I prefer early mornings
6:00 AM, Monday - Friday; later in the morning on the weekends.
These days I prefer doing it first thing. I'm not a morning person so I just suffer through it to get it over with. Otherwise I'm just more likely to miss the workout.

Edit: I sound like I hate working out. On the contrary. I just miss having time to do it. These days I just do enough to keep my brain and body in check.
Right now, l get up at either 5:00am or 5:30am Mon-Fri, depending on which set of muscle groups l am doing that morning. If l am not too hungover, l go to a public high school track and do sprints on Saturday morning. I do distance running in the evenings after the sun goes down. I change the routine every few months. I often go through phases of bicycle training.
has to be first thing in the morning. otherwise wont do it.

No way could I work out in the morning; I'm the worst morning person. I tend not to sleep well either, so I find exercise in the evenings helps with that.

I want your ass up at 3:00 am to do 50 push ups, yes, FIFTY! Then 50 more! Bigger pecs will make those hooters poke out hootier. Then 100 stomach crunches and 75 sit ups, followed by 4 sets of 25 squats. Then you can go back to bed. No excuses! At 7am l want 400 jumping jacks! No coffee until you finish.

I prefer working out at night, as I have work in the morning.
