What do you do to stay fit?

Gym three time a week plus aerobic class to follow. Running almost every day. And of course lots and lots of sexercise.

Gym 5 days a week

Been going to the gym recently and enjoying weight training. Only do a little cardio on the crosstrainer to warm up atm 'cause I'm asthmatic and since having covid several times it's been really problematic. Also some stretch because I have severe spasticity from a neurological condition. Hoping to get back to Pole Fitness eventually.

Lift weights,Run,Walk,Swim ,body surf ,hiking ,biking ,sex not necessarily in that order

I mostly run and I did my first 5k and obstacle course race. I’m doing it again!

Didn't go to the gym today. Bestie took me to her boyfriend's circuit class he teaches instead. I am dead 💀 Entire hour doing laps, press-ups, walking out press-ups, burpies, kettlebell swings, crunches, squats, wall squats in teams and running up the stairs. I almost puked. I much prefer weight training but I'll hopefully see progress sooner.

In my past, I was a bit of gym rat, but that just isn't me anymore.

Nowadays, I keep up a regular regimen of walking & playing at least 9 holes of golf, sometimes a full 18, as the first tee time whenever I'm not having to work (2-4 days a week). During the spring, summer, & fall months I try to get out 3-6 days a week & ride my bicycle for at least 80 miles a week & I set that as my weekly riding goal during the winter time as well on my indoor Zwift trainer. I don't do much else other than make sure to stretch everyday, even if I don't workout I still stretch & can still do the splits at my age & at my weight. It's always fun to see the reactions from fellow cruisers when I go on vacation when this fat man is doing the splits in my post cycling stretching routine.

I do a ton of walking, even in the winter. I also lift a set of small weights on my off days.

I'm an outdoors lover too, going for long walks wherever I live. Over the last few years that has included the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor. At the moment, every Sunday morning I spend an hour in the local pool swimming breast stroke (badly!) followed by a steam room session. My jobs keep me on my feet so I find this relaxing as well.
