My running ability wears out in about 2 minuts.

If anyone want to race me at 50-100 meteres, I'm interested.

I run 5 miles every other day, plus I ride my bicycle to work every day, weather permitting. In addition, I live in a three story home, my office being on the third floor, so I run the stairs several times a day. As a result, my legs are my best feature! (my opinion) I have run in 5K & 10K races, half marathons and one marathon. So am I a runner? You betcha!

I used to run when I was younger. Got a letter in jr high for being on the track team. Then I learned to drive and it got me there quicker with less effort! LOL! Now if you see me running keep up because there's some really bad shit happening behind me!

I've never really wanted to do a full marathon. I've done several half-marathons. I enjoy running but I am an impatient person at heart. I do enjoy sprint training and go to a local high school track to do that.

We've had much more rain than usual, plus December was unusually cold and rainy, so it was cutting into my running outside. I bought a membership to a church gym not too long ago, mostly to get into pick up basketball games. But they have an indoor running track over the basketball court, so I'll use that. They also have racquetball courts, so when I go over there to run, I often get into a basketball game instead or invited to a game of raquetball. Doing those are more fun.

During good weather, I do like to bicycle and used to enter bicycle races. It's been a while since I last did a triathlon. I do both the normal triathlons and the short ones, but haven't done an ironman.

I've noticed some clicking noise in my knees of late, but I'm not having any pain or anything.

I enjoy running but prefer cycling. Swimming is my favourite though.

Running burns an awful lot of calories and I find I need to eat a lot more if I do it otherwise it strips me down.

Swimming is great aerobic exercise and (aside from butterfly) is not too intensive.

I try to run 8 miles/daily at lunch. 50-55 minute pace. Usually walk the dog two miles in the morning and another two miles in the evening after I get home. Never really wanted to do any competitive running.

I go for a run at least once a week as an addition to weightlifting. Mostly to clear my head.

I do compete in local 5K’s and short runs. I usually just run by myself. My first competitive run I told myself I was just going to take it easy and enjoy it. But apparently I’m a little bit to competitive just to sit back and do that I finished third in my age group

I think of myself as a jogger but some would call me a runner. I jog 3-5 miles 6 days a week. I am not in it for speed so I think of it as jogging rather than running but I do sprint for a quarter mile during my last mile. I do it for weight control, cardiovascular health and the endorphin load (runners high) that I get from the workout.

I do a lot of stretching before and after and then I masturbate for about 30 minutes before I take my shower each morning. I view it as part of the workout and the overall sense of well-being.

Recovering distance runner addict here.. Ran a marathon a year for the last 10ish years until I blew out my ACL skiing. I find since I'm slower and the 1/2 marathon distance suits me much better for training and recovery.

Some of you who run might want to read: "Once A Runner" by John L. Parker Jr. It is thought of as the definative book on distance running. When I ran in college and took Track and Field Method for credit we wer told that you never paracticed at the distance you were going to race. You ran short for speed and long for endurance. My Osteopath told me I should have quit running at 40.

I used to run cross country as a kid and never stopped running. Today I run as far as comfortably can every day.

5K runner here, I try and get out about two, maybe three times a week. I'm clocking about 13 minutes these days. I love it, I'm the wrong side of forty now and getting a little slower smile No injuries so far, I put it down to never skimping on good trainers and not pushing now. Lots of warming up, my girlfriend gets me doing yoga a lot these days. I couldn't *not* run, been doing it ever since I could walk. I was competitive over 1500m when I was younger. I got down to 3.43, got just under a four-minute mile at 3.59 when I was 19.

i usually tell people i'm not a runner, i'm a guy who runs. there's a difference. i've done 10k's, but i've never been competitive (i do them just to do them) and i probably won't ever do a marathon. i have a personal goal of doing a half, but we'll see.

Running keeps back pain at bay? Can you tell me more? I don't have much back pain yet, but I am sure I will at some point in the future. Whenever I've run I find it impacts my back a lot.

Yes, I run 3 or 4 times a week.. usually 5 to 8km during the week and then a longer run at the weekend, anything from 12 to 20km.. I run for my mental health, I feel a lot happier and less grump when I've been running... I'm never going to win a race but enjoy taking part. Ran a few marathons, lots of halfs, did 4 halfs in 4 days once.. which was interesting lol

2 competition winning stories, 1 Famous story, a smattering of Editor's Picks, a handful of Recommended Reads and one Clitorides award are scattered amongst my stories.

Pre-pregnancy, ran 8 miles in 50-55 minutes. Gradually getting back into shape and running and power-walking (with my dog) usually twice a day.

you ladies are impressive. i walk 5-6 days a week, weather permitting, but when it comes to running, i've never done more than a 10k. i'm determined to do a half in 2021 if they exist in organized form again, but it's like looking up at everest to be honest.

Wow. Feel like a slug. I run a little over 2 miles about 5 days a week. No interest in marathons. I keep mileage low as it seems if I try to go further issues with knees, etc develop. SO I will not be at the Boston marthon, but I do like to get our. I also like o do hiking but my mileage I typically 6+.

At 40? Hmmm. I started running at 70, and I love it. Used to hate it. Thanks to COVID, I’ve lost weight and greatly improved my fitness. I live in Northern Europe, so I can’t always count on sunny weather, but when the sun shines, it’s bliss. I wish I could run naked more often. I can only do this on some secluded tracks.
