Hi
My laptop work fine.......until i log into ...............lush
Then it just slows down, and i hear lots of sounds in the background like some prorams woke up and running in the background.

Any ideas ?
which browser are u using to log into lush?
Find Simar on:
1. Skype: Simar Singh
2. Kik: simar2308
That's just Sprite! Every time you log in, she randomly hijacks your computer to download cat-porn for Cleo. :-)
Also what kind of virus software are you using
Browser is chrome
Antivirus is Avast

Are you really saying this only happens when you use Lush and every time you use Lush?

Sounds in the background .. can you explain this more?
happens when i log into Lush. Not everytime but often, laptop becomes very slow and i can hear program running in the background

That sound is probably your fan (does it sound like your laptop is about to lift off?)

You might want to have a look at what application is causing it by opening your Activity Monitor (OS X, under Applications > Utilities) or Task Manager (if it's still named that way under Windows, it used to open on CTRL + ALT + DEL I believe). There you can see which application uses most of your CPU's capacity.

I dont know how old your laptop is or what operating system you run. Depending on what you do here some pages will be slower than others to load, e.g. your friends list with 67 entries and peoples profiles which are lengthy and have lots of images on their walls (particularly gifs). I agree with BiMale73 that noise may well be the fan; like a whirring noise.

Establishing what is running and how much resource on the laptop you are using when on Lush is the way to go again as BiMale73 suggests.
it happens mostly when im in the chat rooms.......

I would suggest that if you are experiencing almost instant message to room response, you see the images posted in the room quickly and the room keeps scrolling then you dont have an issue on Lush.
That can happen if you have open multiple Tabs and/or if Tabs in your lap are in sites that have multiple GiFs. This happens because this kind of file uses a lot of Ram Memory and machine works faster. Then fan needs to work to make everything cool
Sounds like you might be overheating, and sending your fan into overdrive. I doubt this is from the hot and stimulating chat room antics. There are a few routes you could try:
-A cooler fan, which your laptop would sit on top of, usually connected via USB(this is never a bad option)
-This could be a dust issue, I would try a can of duster and knock out those cobwebs
-You could try to prevent this issue in the first place but lightening your computers bootup work load. There is a program out there that will run a scan and tell you what you are booting and what you need/don't need... ex: Soluto... From there you can make the proper adjustments via system config... start-->run-->*type*msconfig-->OK

you promised you wouldn't tell!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

What!

You can try another browser and see if it happens with that eg Internet Explorer for PC, Or Safari for mac.

Also time to run a good (free) anti malware program or two- assuming it is a PC that is :-)

here ya go:-Malwarebytes and superantispyware

Then a cleanup program Google ccleaner and trojan remover

Let them run one after each other.

Run chrome cleanup tool-Chrome Cleanup Tool

Phew!

If that fails, just turn your sound off and read more slowly! Lol

I hope that helps?

PS I can actually remote in and take a look- However I do not know you well enough for that - LOL

can you tell me how to adjust the settings so it uses less battery power? (I also don't know how to play dvds on mine, and it goes in but doesn't play automatically.) please and thanks and what should I carry mine in? (does it need to be shockproof?)

I have the same combination, and I find my laptop slows down after a while...not just on Lush btw...

I tend to leave mine running all the time, but I find I have to re-start it every day or two...or else it just slows down to a crawl...

You know you want it, you know you need it bad...get it now on Amazon.com...

Chroma and avast should be fine maybe try another browser?

Here are a few

Firefox
Opera
Edge (That is just Interent Explorer in disguise!)
Safari.

Also check to see how many tabs for have open! If you have more than ten the whole machine will slow!

Happy New Year! - Ok It's a bit early ;-)
Believe that your ant virus software avast is slowly down the function. Try another free
anti virus software

Actually Opera is more like Chrome in disguise (they share the same render engine, which was forked from Safari), while Edge is pretty much a new browser (its render engine is a cleaned up/rewritten fork from that of Internet Explorer).

I would advice to clean your disk clean up and your internet cookies.
