Been looking for a fixer upper cheap gaming laptop and came across this gem (described sarcastically) on Ebay:

Sager Clevo P170E
- As is for parts or repair $199.99 or best offer

- Does not include CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, or MXM Video Card.

Seriously though, who would buy this for $200? It's 6 years old. There are several that are in working condition for a similar price.

Oh well...nerdy girl rant of the day over lol.

Some chancer!

I'm still on a laptop which was very high end back in the day, but is 9 years old. I never want to change it!

It's fast, no problems, viruses seem to just dissipate, and it now feels like part of my family.

I hear ya!!!! Unfortunately, graphics cards don't age as well for playing modern games, especially the laptop varients...
That is insane what they were asking... and far as most bang for the buck, if your still looking for a entry level priced "gaming laptop" have you considered

Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS, Intel i7-7700HQ CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1060-6GB, VR Ready, Red Backlit KB, Metal Chassis, Windows 10 64-bit, G3-571-77QK
you can get one @ Newegg , Amazon Etc , all about the same price $1,100

I am curious why your want a laptop for your gaming rig.. Personally , I like to build my own and get much more power and speed from my desktop, lovingly named (The Beast)
